What makes Pineland Farms VAST Program Unique?
The mission of the VAST Program is to improve the lifelong health and well-being of Veterans with disabilities by participating in a vast array of physical activities with fellow Veterans.

States that they service
Maine and New England for day events. All US States for most extended day camps.
We strive to offer year-round activities based on the needs and wants of veterans. Programs are free and equipment is provided. Current sports include:
• Target Archery
• Pellet Rifle Shooting
• Laser Rifle Shooting
• Cycling (Mountain, Hand, & Recumbent)
• Fly and Spin Cast Fishing
• Fly Tying
• Orienteering
• Disc Golf
• Boccia Ball
• WC Basketball, Floor Hockey, & Tennis
• Snow Shoeing
• Nordic Pole Walking
• Cross Country Skiing
• Bowling

Who Can Sign Up to Participate?
Veterans with physical disabilities including physical disabilities, TBI, PTSD, etc. Veterans without a disability can come and volunteer, or can self-pay at certain events if space available.

How much does it cost to participate?
Always free for Veterans with a disability - including food, lodging, equipment, airfare, etc.

How long do the activities last?
We offer weekly activities in New Gloucester, ME, some 2-3 day events in Maine and NH, and our camps - Biathlon and Multi-sport camps last 4 - 5 days. We reserve our hunting camps (4 - 5 days)- Fall Deer Hunting and Spring Turkey Hunting preferably to combat Veterans with a rating, or Veterans that have not attending many other Veterans camps before due to the small number of Veterans we are able to invite.
