 What makes Finally Home Farm unique?

Finally Home Farm is an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit public charity dedicated to healing our mentally wounded warriors through Equine Assisted therapies, equine experiences and equine assisted learning. Finally Home Farm is certified by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) as a Military Services designated program. FHF staff are also certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International for therapeutic riding activities and ground therapies. FHF serves active military and military veterans, plus police, fire and EMS warriors. All donated funds are used for program expenses including insurance, legal, equipment, maintenance, training and certifications.

 

Who Can Sign Up to Participate?:

Veterans, active military, and families. We serve first responders also.

How much does it cost to participate:

Free, There is no charge for any of our therapy sessions or activities

 

What kind of activities are offered by the organization?:

We provide individual or family group ground based equine assisted psychotherapy, equine assisted learning and equine experiences. We also have a weekly group for therapeutic riding activities.

 

How long do the activities last?:

Ground therapy sessions are usually weekly 90 minute sessions for 6 - 8 weeks. The riding group Odyssey meets for 2 hours every week.
