What makes Dive Pirates unique? 

Based on camaraderie, compassion, freedom to dive, and the Code of Conduct, Dive Pirates will support, train, equip, and provide dive travel to individuals with mobile disabilities through Adaptive Scuba Diving.

           

Who can sign up to participate? 

Individuals with physical (mobile) disabilities    

 

What type of activity? 

Adaptive Scuba Diving  

 

How Much Does It Cost?

Recipients must cover the costs of their passport, dive insurance, nitrox, and incidentals during the trip and just agree to fund raise to offset the costs of dive training and travel.

    

How long does activity last?     

Training varies depending on needs of the recipient, week-long trip to tropical destination, desire is to provide recipients with proper equipment and training so that he or she can enjoy the mobility of the sport for years to come.

What if I need help getting there? Travel and lodging? All equipment and travel is part of the experience and fundraising efforts.

Where to do I sign up to participate, what info is needed? 

Applications are accepted online, and a complete application includes a diver medical with a physician's release, a photo and a valid passport. https://divepirates.org/become-an-adaptive-diver-application/
