What makes the organization unique?
To assist emotional trauma survivors to release their grief, rage and shame; and allow joy, productivity and prosperity back into their and their families' lives. To offer transformative Healing Warrior Hearts retreats for veterans, facilitating emotional healing. They provide these retreats and other veterans' programs, at no cost to the veterans.
Who can sign up to participate:
Military veterans and their families.- all veterans, of all services, of all times. Whether you served in combat or on the homefront, during times of peace or times of declared war, as a clerk, a mechanic, a medic, special ops or any other MOS, your service was an important part of the military.
How Much Does It Cost?:
Free, no cost.
What kind of activities are offered?
Healing Warrior Hearts retreats include activities for:
getting to know your fellow participants sharing your experiences - at whatever level you are ready to do so
learning how the brain, body and emotions work together envisioning a positive future
Plus, you will receive an "Emotional Well-Being Tool Kit" that provides skills for daily living and better relationships.

How Long Do The Activities Last?:
gather on Friday evening at 7pm to get to know each other and set intentions for the retreat. Saturday morning we start at 9 am, spending the day hearing the stories of participants and honoring their willingness to do the emotional healing work. On Sunday, we start at 9 am and focus on closure for the story and setting intentions for positive future, with a graduation ceremony at 5pm.
Local participants return home each evening (ending times vary based on the number of participants in the retreat). Participants who travel into the retreat city will stay at a near-by hotel. Lodging expenses are covered by the sponsoring organization.
